Adjusting to a new office can be almost as challenging as the job search itself. This can be particularly true when making the transition from public service to private practice. The discussion covered some of the challenges faced by attorneys who made the jump as well as a brief primer on the difference in ethical considerations for private practitioners and public servants.

The panel was comprised of Will Lopez and Concepcion Montoya of Hinshaw & Culbertson, and Anna Mercado Clark of Phillips Lytle LLP. The moderator was Patricia Astorga of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCoy LLP. The CLE was held at the New York City offices of Phillips Lytle LLP.
